Top 3 Altcoins to Watch in Third Week of October 2026

Quack AI (Q), Akedo (AKE), and Monero (XMR) are the top 3 altcoins to watch in the third week of October. Each chart now sits at a decisive level.

Q surged 298% over seven days, AKE gained 24.8%, and XMR added 11.3%. However, their setups differ sharply, ranging from an overheated breakout to a looming supply event.

Token Price 7-day change RSI Key level Main risk
Quack AI (Q) $0.1298 +298% ~87 $0.054 support Leverage and overbought momentum
Akedo (AKE) $0.02956 +24.8% ~51 $0.037 resistance $63 million unlock on October 21
Monero (XMR) $590.55 +11.3% ~65 $600 resistance Double top with crowded longs

Quack AI (Q) Price Squeeze Leaves $0.054 as Key Support

Q trades near $0.1298, up 18.8% in 24 hours. The token broke a range that capped price at $0.028 from May until early October. It then cleared $0.054 around October 16.

Leverage appears to have fueled the move. Futures volume reached 25.7 times spot volume on October 18. Meanwhile, short liquidations hit roughly $8.4 million on Binance and Bybit.

The rally coincides with renewed demand for AI tokens, though no project-specific catalyst has emerged.

Warning signs are building. Today’s candle wicked to $0.216 before sellers pushed price about 40% lower. Additionally, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) reads near 87, its highest level on the chart.

Holding $0.10 keeps the trend intact. A daily close below it, however, could expose $0.054, roughly 58% under the current price.

Akedo (AKE) Faces $63 Million Unlock Below Key Resistance

AKE trades at $0.02956, down 1.3% in 24 hours, with a market cap near $673 million. One of top 3 altcoins this for this week has spent a month ranging below the 0.236 Fibonacci level at $0.0321.

The $0.029 to $0.037 zone has capped every rebound since late September. Most recently, an October 15 push to $0.037 failed. Still, the early October low near $0.022 held, forming a higher low.

The RSI sits near 51, signaling neutral momentum. Therefore, the chart shows neither overheating nor strong conviction.

Supply remains the main risk. Roughly $63 million worth of AKE unlocks on October 21, about 9% of market cap. The previous unlock on September 21 preceded a slide into the current range.

A daily close above $0.037 would confirm a breakout from the range. Conversely, losing $0.022 could expose the 0.382 Fibonacci level at $0.0118, about 60% lower.

Top 3 Altcoins: Monero (XMR) Price Tests the $600 Ceiling a Third Time

XMR trades at $590.55, up 1.1% in 24 hours. The privacy coin is pressing against the 0.618 Fibonacci level at $600 for the third time since September.

Earlier attempts failed near $610 on September 18 and $635 on September 22. Yet each pullback ended higher, first near $490 and then at $516 in October. This structure resembles an ascending triangle.

Volume on October 18 was the largest since late September. Furthermore, the RSI near 65 remains below overbought territory, leaving room for further upside.

A daily close above $635 could target the 0.786 level at $688, roughly 16% higher. However, another rejection risks a double top.

Coinalyze data shows about 63% of tracked accounts holding long positions, which could deepen any drop toward $538. Regulatory pressure also lingers after earlier exchange delistings.
