EVEDEX Releases $EVE Tokenomics: 100M Fixed Supply, Non-Transferable Staking and a Retroactive Airdrop for Early Users

EVEDEX, a hybrid decentralised cryptocurrency exchange, has published the full structure of $EVE, the utility token that will underpin fee payments, staking and governance across its platform.

The token carries a fixed supply of 100 million, with 6% reserved for a retroactive airdrop to users who accumulated points before the token generation event.

Fixed Supply and Allocation

The 100 million supply is divided across seven allocations:
31% — the treasury and DAO for future incentives;
18% — the core team;
15% — partnerships;
12% — liquidity provision and vaults;
10% — seed and private rounds;
8% — network incentives;
6% — community through the retroactive distribution.

Eligibility for that 6% is calculated from activity already recorded on the platform. Points earned through trading, liquidity provision, referrals, quests and community participation, together with previously issued Achievement Badges, determine each participant’s proportional share. No separate purchase or deposit is required to qualify, and the allocation is distributed pro rata rather than at a fixed per-user amount.

The token generation event is sequenced to the protocol’s mainnet phase, with the published roadmap. $EVE is scheduled to follow the establishment of live perpetual trading and fee accrual to the DAO treasury, placing the token behind demonstrated volume rather than ahead of it. Claim details will be confirmed through official EVEDEX channels closer to the event.

Staking, Voting Power and the Unstaking Curve

Staked $EVE converts one-for-one into stEVE, a non-transferable token that carries voting rights in the EVEDEX DAO. Staking 100 EVE produces 100 stEVE. The design deliberately separates governance weight from tradeable supply: stEVE cannot be bought, sold or lent, so voting power has to be earned by locking tokens rather than acquired on the open market ahead of a vote.

Unstaking runs on a linear one-year schedule that updates continuously, allowing holders to withdraw the unlocked portion at any point. Exiting early carries a penalty of up to 50%, decreasing linearly to zero as the period completes.

Staking rewards are not expressed as a fixed annual rate. They are tied to protocol fee generation and to each staker’s share of total staked stEVE.

EVEDEX currently reports more than 74,000 registered traders and monthly trading volume above $15B, with maker fees of 0.015%, taker fees of 0.045% and leverage of up to 200x.
